“It is with a heavy heart that I must report that Lin Young of Gallipolis, OH passed away earlier today. He was formerly the Superintendent of MCR Division 9 and also the owner of the Grafton & Greenbrier RR. I don't have any details other than he was in California at the time. When I receive more info I will pass it along.”

“It is with incredible sadness that I must pass on the news that our former superintendent, Lin Young, passed away suddenly early Saturday November 12. Lin had just finished his annual horseback trip in Death Valley, CA and was on the way home. The story I have heard is that he was a passenger in a car and just slumped over. CPR was ineffective.
I will let you all know when arrangements have been made.”
